Our Role

Depending on the context, we may process personal information in different roles. In that context, the client’s privacy policy, notices, and instructions govern the client’s use of the information, and we process the information as described in our agreement with that client. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have sold or shared identifiers, commercial information, internet or electronic network activity information, demographic and household information, professional or business-related information, inferences, model outputs, and audience segments to or with business clients, brands, agencies, advertising networks, data platforms, analytics providers, identity-resolution providers, and similar third parties for marketing, advertising, analytics, modeling, and related commercial purposes.

Your Opt-Out Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information, the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. If we cannot verify your request, we may ask for additional information or deny the request as permitted by law.

We will respond to privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. If we need additional time, we will notify you as required by law.

Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us or confirm that you authorized the request.

If we deny your request and applicable law gives you a right to appeal, you may appeal our decision by replying to the denial notice with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” or by emailing privacy@helmintel.com. We will respond to appeals within the time required by applicable law.

Data Broker Registry Disclosures

To the extent Helm Intel’s activities require registration as a data broker in a particular jurisdiction, Helm Intel will maintain required registrations and make required data broker disclosures. Helm Intel may be required to register or make disclosures in jurisdictions such as California, Texas, Oregon, Vermont, or other states with applicable data broker laws. Registration with a state agency does not necessarily mean that the agency approves or endorses our business practices.

Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, create and maintain data products, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the source of the information, the purposes for which we use it, contractual requirements, legal requirements, and operational needs.
